Mission:
Summerhill is a Capital Advisor to Commercial Real Estate owners. Most of my clients are real estate developers and investors that need help capitalizing their new construction, adaptive reuse, and acquisition / renovation projects.
Typical capital placement in the $10mm to ~$100mm range, a mix of senior debt and subordinate capital.
Recent asset classes include apartment, condo construction, hotel development and recap, industrial, adaptive reuse, mixed use (residential + commercial), land acquisition and development.
About:
Prior to starting Summerhill in 2016, Lance spent a career crafting non-recourse and creative real estate capital solutions with particular emphasis on construction finance through senior and subordinate debt investments, typically supporting 85%+ of the capital stack on most income producing CRE projects.
Previous roles include Head of Debt Capital Markets for an Atlanta based real estate and debt fund, commercial real estate banker, loan sale advisor to community and regional banks, with a strong foundation underwriting, structuring and successfully packaging complex real estate loans.
Lance lives in Suburban Atlanta with his wife of ~18 years and two teen daughters. In his spare time, Lance enjoys time and travel with his family, hiking, sports cars, technology, and leading a men's group affiliated with North Point Community Church.
Lance invests in his community through time and philanthropic contributions to causes including Lighthouse Family Retreats, Wounded Warrior Foundation, Cloudwalk Ministries, Souly Business, Make a Wish Foundation, the Texas A&M Foundation, the Georgia Southern University Foundation among others.
